Big Farewell Homecoming Party

Shoeless Jim sings the blues: ‘Born Under a Bad Sign‘ (click the link to listen.) Myself (Jim Lindsey) singing, Cy Giacomin on piano, Eric Slone on guitar and harmonica. The original inspiration for the song was Albert King’s driving electric guitar version. Cy showed us some optional variations, including this more mellow barrelhouse piano New Orleans style that we finally chose. Born Under a Bad Sign is the closing music in the soundtrack for the 2007 Canadian movie ‘An Accountant’s Tale‘ in which I played Isaac MacIsaac, the Accountant. An Accountant’s Tale is currently being released in episodes on the Internet by director Michael Aitken of Glooscap Films.
