Jim appears in Canadian commercials that won a Broadcast TV award in ‘ The tenth annual ICE Awards. The ICE Awards bring Atlantic Canadian advertising and marketing professionals together to celebrate the best in Atlantic Canadian advertising. The judges are here, sponsors here.
 

He sings the blues song ‘Born Under a Bad Sign‘ the closing music in the soundtrack for the 2007 Canadian movie ‘An Accountant’s Tale‘ in which he played Isaac MacIsaac, the Accountant. An Accountant’s Tale is currently being released in episodes on the Internet by director Michael Aitken of Glooscap Films.

Cy Giacomin on piano, Eric Slone on guitar and harmonica. The original inspiration for the song was Albert King’s driving electric guitar version. Cy showed Jim some optional variations, including this more mellow barrelhouse piano New Orleans style that they finally chose. Jim has been a musician for over 40 years.
